bookclub3

Paul Shepheard will lead this Book Club series entitled ‘The Present Moment’. Here the text and the conversation that ensues will explore how the form of a book relates to the form of a building. The discussion will also consider a recent revelation of the author that the instant of the present is not made of time, but of space.

Reading list:

What is English Literature, by Gertrude Stein (from Look At Me Now and Here I Am, Peter Owen 2004)
Essay on Experience by Montaigne (from The Complete Essays, Penguin Classics, 1993)
